Rev. Michelle's Message October 8, 2026

Rev. Vicky and I have just returned from a three-day Unity West Central Region Ministers and Leaders Training at Villa Maria Del Mar in Santa Cruz. We had a wonderful time catching up with ministers from all over Central and Northern California that we usually only see once or twice a year. We also enjoyed the beautiful location and very warm, sunny October weather!

We had some very informative and powerful workshops and activities designed to help us reflect on our evolution as ministers and how we can strive to better meet the changing spiritual needs of our congregations and carry the Unity message to the world.

We also got to spend some time getting to know Rev. Shara Moscinska, the new Executive Director of Unity Communities and Leaders, which is the new name for the Unity ministries' organization after the merger of Unity Worldwide Ministries with Unity Worldwide Headquarters (which took place late last year).

All the names can be a little confusing, right? And many of you may not be up to date with all that has happened and is happening in our Unity movement. So I thought we’d spend a little time this Sunday going over what Rev. Vicky and I learned and clarifying some things for all of you.

We don’t usually talk a lot in Sunday services about the Unity organization, but I think it’s worth dedicating some time to that this Sunday. We’ll watch a short, informative video where Unity’s CEO Rev. Jim Blake explains the current “state of Unity.” Then I’ll share with you a little more about what we learned and experienced this past week.

Hope to see you there!

Unity Blessings,

Rev. Michelle
