I am really loving our book, A More Beautiful Way to Live. If you haven’t purchased it, I highly suggest that you do. The book is just so beautifully written and feels so supportive and nurturing. This feels like a book I will keep on my shelf and go back to again and again.

The author, Bethaney B. Wilkinson, leads us gently and skillfully through the process of getting more comfortable in our own bodies and in our own presence, slowly becoming more acquainted with our own inner lives—essentially, coming to know ourselves more deeply.

This is beautiful, transformative, healing work. I feel like this book has come into my life at just the right time. The information and practices feel especially timely for me, and I hope you will find them practical and relevant too.

I am also excited to share that I have been invited to return this year to give the Invocation at the Del Rey Pride Flag Raising Ceremony this Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at the DRO City Hall. I was so deeply honored to do this last year and am thrilled to have been asked back again.

You are all invited to join me! Despite DRO being such a small town, the event is well attended and lively, with various speakers and a very welcoming atmosphere….and there will be cake!

I am so pleased to be considered a safe, trustworthy, and loyal ally of the LGBTQ+ community. As you know, this work is very close to my heart. The event is also a great opportunity for folks to hear about our loving, inclusive UMB community!
