Rev. Michelle's Message July 30, 2025

As I write this message, I am deep into Myrtle Fillmore’s Healing Letters and deep into her profound spiritual teachings. And I have to admit, the teachings can be a bit overwhelming for me at times. Classic Unity teachings are often very heady, very high-level spiritual concepts. And Myrtle’s own self-healing was so dramatic and so profound. It can be easy to think that perhaps none of this really has anything to do with my own life.

And yet, I know Myrtle dedicated her life’s work to teaching these concepts and these healing methods to other people, and that many of those people frequently got dramatic, amazing results themselves.

And so I keep trudging on, reading Myrtle’s profound words and trying to absorb as much of them as I can into my consciousness. And I forgive myself for finding the teachings challenging at times. I know we must each work at our own level and do the very best we can from where we are.

If you are finding any of the teachings a bit high level or overwhelming yourself, know that you are not alone. Just do as I am doing—asking Spirit to help me to comprehend these divine ideas to the best of my ability and to be able to utilize them in my own life to help myself and others.

Changing our consciousness—especially those tenacious, long-held negative beliefs about ourselves—can be very challenging work, but ultimately it is the work that we have come here to do.

And so, for now, as I get ready for bed, I relax and let go….and I offer you with this bedtime prayer written by Myrtle Fillmore that I came across in my studies. May it bless you deeply and serve to quicken your own healing process.

Myrtle Fillmore’s Bedtime Prayer

I am health, strength, peace, happiness, and prosperity.

The Spirit of God, who is active in me, flows through my body in a purifying, cleansing, healing stream that removes all obstructions and brings peace, health, and harmony to my body.

I am well, strong, and vital.

I am beautiful, peaceful, and poised.

I am eternally youthful.

I am buoyant, happy, free.

I shall rise in the morning, filled with energy, radiance, and the power to accomplish whatever I find to do. Amen.
