For most of my life my favorite season has been Fall. I love the changing colors, the approach of holidays, and the sense of new beginnings (e.g., new school years). As I’ve entered the “Fall season of my life,” however – I’m finding a new affinity for Spring! This shift may be partially due to having experienced a much harsher winter – with more days overcast, cold and wet than usual. I am definitely looking forward to the increasing light, warmth and green all around that comes with Spring. But I also think it’s because I am embracing the opportunity for new birth within my spiritual practice that HHC (His Holiness’ Cat) has inspired within me. It is definitely still a work in progress; I am feeling my practice go deeper and my purpose becoming clearer. I hope you have also been touched by the transformative teachings of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and HHC. To keep the inspiration going – I have chosen the Bodhicitta intention for our Spring Affirmation: “May my words and actions consistently support my enlightenment for the sake of all living beings.” Namasté Rev.
