Our 25th Anniversary Silver Banquet, held Tuesday evening at the Bayonet and Black Horse Golf Course, was a huge success! A grand total of 54 people attended this year, our largest attendance in years!
Thank you to everyone who attended the banquet and who participated in our silent and live auctions. Since this is our biggest fundraiser of the year, we are grateful for such a high level of participation.
A big thank you to Kay Payan for coordinating the banquet and for making the beautiful table decorations, to Walter, Martha, Tim, Sue, and MaryAnn for helping set up, to Martha for coordinating the auction donations, to Robin for handling check-in, to Sue, our trusty auctioneer, and MaryAnn and Martha, her lovely side-kicks, to all those who shared their memories, to Martha, Pam, and Kay for handling the auction purchases, and to all those who stayed to help clean up afterward. It takes a lot of volunteers to make an event like this a success, so thank you to each and every one of you!
Finally, congratulations once more to Rev. Vicky on her 25th anniversary of being our senior minister! It was moving to hear from several people about what her faithful leadership and the loving community she has led us in creating have meant to them over the years. Vicky, we love you, we bless you, and we appreciate all that you do!
Be sure to check out our Facebook page to see photos from the banquet!
Many Blessings,
Rev. Michelle
